It has taken the CSA 2 yrs to work out how much my husband should pay his ex, he was taken to court apparently owing 5k in arrears due to lack of info from the CSA about how and where to pay. We were told by a rep at the court that we would be given a face to face interview with an agent so they could review his case. Three weeks later we are still waiting to hear from them and have been threatened twice with court action.

Before being taken to court we were told to put the 5k on a credit card or take a loan out, but told them we wouldnt do that as he was going to be made bankrupt, at court we were told that they expected the 5k to be paid back within 2 yrs, but we cant afford that, my husband has not been allowed to see his kids for 4 years. My husband was paying maintenance but the case was closed due to his ex failing to give the CSA info they requested but then they re-opened it when she re-applied, we are at our wits end as we have tried the MP route and have recently and are waiting a reply from the i.c.e, no one seems to care and we now see and understand why NRP's contenplate suicide.

In our opinion exs who use their kids as weapons should pay for ruining NRP's relationships with their children as my husband now has 3 children who have been brought up to hate him.
