I am being told that I have arrears of £9000

Hi all

I am being told that I have arrears of £9000. I am telling them that they have not taken facts into the assesment like having a son with my partner, fortnightly contact, housing costs and wages changes! They will not re assess... are there any rules that I can quote to get this re assesed? otherwise if they deduct from my earnings I will not be able to afford to travel nearly 400 miles fortnightly to see my kids! Any legal specialists that have been sucsessful. I have just had to provide three years of dates as my ex has said that I have never had my kids to try and gain more money, even with a court order they dont believe me..

Hope this helps!

I am in a similar position to you mate, however not to the extent you are. I would suggest you start to and keep writing to your MP as I have done. Send him all copies of letters sent to and received from the CSA. Write to the complaints department and also the Cheif Exec of the CSA.

Get statements from family and friends confirming the shared care you have had and send them to CSA. Also put in an appeal to the CSA Appeals Dept from the time they are disputing and send them as much evidence as possible. They will write back and tell you that it is unlikely that you will win an appeal on the grounds that it is more of a complaint. Ignore that and keep on with your appeal. Because if you then lose the appeal it then gives you the right to put it in front of the Commissioner.
