Deadbeat Agency

For the past five years, I have been contacting the CSA regarding receiving payments from my exhusband. To date - I have received nothing.

I was informed in June that my account was finally being dealt with. After five years!!!

First I was told that my file had been lost. Then I was informed by post that I owed my exhusband over £200 in 'overpayments'. Considering the fact I had never received a penny - I was concerned that there had been a substantial error made on behalf of the CSA.

Following a search into my account. It was discovered that CSA had been paying money - not into my bank account but into another one - my daughter's young saver account. I contacted the bank - and confirmed that no money had ever been deposited into her account at all. I contacted CSA again and was told that it was a 'clerical error' and that the money would be sent to my bank account within 6 to 8 weeks.

To date, I have received no money from the CSA. I am owed over £2,000.

When I contact the office - there is confusion over my account and no one seems to know what is going on.

In the meantime, I am struggling to get by to support my daughter.

I am furious with CSA. I have had to endure five years of incompetence and inconsistency.

My exhusband had left me over £140k in debt. He has paid for acting lessons, a motorcycle and trips abroad (to buy a Thai bride!!) He has never spent a penny on his daughter. This is the only contribution he has or will ever make to support my daughter.

I am faced with a deadbeat dad and now a deadbeat agency.

I would like the CSA to do something about it!!
